Is the Card Chase App really free?
Yes. The app is completely free, with no account and no subscription. You don’t have to shop with us to use it.
Do I need to download it from the App Store or Google Play?
No. The Card Chase App runs in your phone’s web browser. You can add it to your home screen so it opens like any other app, without going through an app store.
What does the Card Chase Score mean?
It’s our 0–10 rating for every product we carry, built from four equal parts: Hits, Chase, Fun and Value. Each score comes with a short written review from our team.
What is the Family Score?
Retail boxes get a second score that rates how fun and kid-friendly a box is to open, so parents can quickly pick the best rip for the family.
What is Hit Chaser?
Hit Chaser is the tab that tells you what to look for in a box. Scan the barcode or search by name, and you’ll see the set’s case hits, short prints, top rookies and the parallels found only in that format, each ranked from $ to $$$$+ by typical value.
Does Hit Chaser work on boxes I didn’t buy from Card Chase?
Yes. Hit Chaser covers the most popular current baseball, football, basketball and Pokémon products, wherever you bought them. If a barcode isn’t in our list yet, pick your box from the search list and the app will remember it, then send us the barcode so we can add it for everyone.
Are the prices in the app what I’ll pay at the truck?
Yes. The On the Truck tab shows our current price for every product we’re carrying. Inventory changes from event to event, so check the app before you head out.
How do I find out where the truck will be?
Open the Events tab in the app, or visit cardchasetruck.com/events. We post every upcoming stop across Cincinnati, Dayton and Columbus.
