About Card Chase

What is Card Chase?

Card Chase is Ohio’s first mobile sports card and Pokémon TCG shop — a converted food truck stocked with sealed hobby boxes, booster boxes, blasters, mega boxes, hangers, Elite Trainer Boxes, and more. Instead of requiring a trip to a hobby shop, we roll directly to the events you’re already attending: Reds games, card shows, food truck festivals, tailgates, and community events across Greater Cincinnati, Dayton, and Columbus.

Where is Card Chase based?

Card Chase is headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio and serves the Greater Cincinnati, Dayton, and Columbus markets. We are a mobile operation — we don’t have a fixed retail storefront. Check our events calendar to find us near you.

When did Card Chase launch?

Card Chase soft launched in September 2026 with full operations beginning mid-September 2026. We are Ohio’s first dedicated mobile sports card and Pokémon TCG truck.

Who runs Card Chase?

Card Chase was founded by Greg Little (Director of Marketing & Operations), Brian Hiler (Sales Director), and David Clemens (Finance Director) — three longtime collectors with over 20 combined years in the hobby. We’re collectors first, business people second.

What We Sell

What products does Card Chase carry?

We carry sealed product only — we do not sell single cards or graded cards. Our inventory includes hobby boxes, jumbo boxes, booster boxes, blasters, mega boxes, hangers, fat packs, Elite Trainer Boxes (ETBs), and booster bundles across the following brands and sports:

  • Baseball: Topps (Chrome, Bowman, Series 1 & 2, Stadium Club, Finest, and more)
  • Football: Topps (Chrome, Cosmic Chrome) and Panini (Prizm, Optic, Select, Donruss, and more)
  • Basketball: Topps (Chrome, Hoops, Finest, Signature Class)
  • Pokémon TCG: The Pokémon Company International — current and recent sets including Pitch Black, Phantasmal Flames, Ascended Heroes, Chaos Rising, and more
  • Other sports & entertainment: We occasionally carry hockey, soccer, UFC, wrestling, Disney, and other Topps and Panini products. Ask us at any event or reach out in advance if you’re looking for something specific.

Do you sell single cards or graded cards?

No. Card Chase is sealed wax only. We do not sell individual singles, raw cards, or PSA/BGS graded cards. Our focus is exclusively on sealed product — the ripping experience is the point.

Do you buy cards from collectors?

We do not purchase cards from collectors. We are a sealed product retailer only.

Do you carry vintage cards?

No. We carry current and recent sealed releases only — generally 2024 and newer. For vintage cards, your best bet is a local card show or a dedicated vintage dealer.

Do you always have hockey, soccer, or UFC cards?

Not always, but we do carry them regularly and will always try to accommodate demand. If you’re specifically looking for a hockey set, a soccer product, or a UFC release at an upcoming event, reach out to us in advance via our contact page and we’ll do our best to have it on the truck.

Do you sell card supplies?

Yes — we carry a selection of card protection supplies at the truck so you can protect your pulls on the spot. Current supplies include penny sleeves, top loaders, and one-touch magnetic card holders. If you pull something valuable at our truck, you won’t have to wait to protect it.

Can I pre-order products from Card Chase?

Not currently. All sales are in-person at events. Follow us on Facebook and TikTok for product announcements and event updates so you know what’s coming to each show.

Pricing & Payment

How is Card Chase pricing structured?

Pricing varies by product, but we are always competitive — almost always at or below current secondary market prices and close to MSRP. Our goal is to give Ohio collectors fair pricing without the markups you’d see on eBay or other secondary platforms. Use our free Card Chase App to see current MSRP vs. market price comparisons on every product we carry before you visit.

Are your prices better than eBay or secondary market sites?

In almost all cases, yes. Secondary market prices on platforms like eBay include seller fees, shipping costs, and market premiums that drive prices well above MSRP on popular products. Card Chase prices are built for in-person retail — fair, transparent, and competitive. Check the Best Wax tab in our free app to see current market price comparisons for every product.

What payment methods do you accept?

We use Square for all in-person transactions, which means we accept all major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. We also accept CashApp, Venmo, and PayPal. We are a cashless operation — we do not accept cash at events.

Do you offer discounts or bundle deals?

We occasionally run event-specific promotions, bundle deals, and giveaways. Follow us on social media for announcements — the best deals tend to happen at the event, not in advance.

Where can I find Card Chase?

We roll to sporting events, card shows, food truck festivals, and community gatherings across Cincinnati, Dayton, and Columbus. Check our full events calendar for confirmed upcoming appearances. You can also follow us on Facebook and TikTok for real-time event announcements and location updates.

Do you ever travel outside of Cincinnati, Dayton, and Columbus?

Our primary market is Greater Cincinnati, Dayton, and Columbus. For larger events — major card shows, special festivals — we do occasionally travel beyond these areas. Keep an eye on our events calendar for anything outside our regular territory.

Can I get notified when Card Chase is coming to an event near me?

Yes — the easiest way is to follow us on Facebook and TikTok where we post event announcements first. You can also use the Events tab in the Card Chase App to see our full schedule in one place. The app is free and requires no download or account.

Booking Card Chase

Can I book Card Chase for my event?

Yes — we love working with event organizers, card show promoters, sports venues, food truck festivals, community organizations, and private events. If you’re interested in having Card Chase appear at your event, reach out through our contact page with your event name, date, location, and expected attendance and we’ll get back to you promptly.

What types of events is Card Chase a good fit for?

We’re a great fit for:

  • Card shows and hobby events
  • Sporting events and tailgates (MLB, NFL, NBA, college sports)
  • Food truck festivals and community events
  • Birthday parties and private collector events
  • Corporate events and team-building activities
  • School and youth organization events (family-friendly focus)

For private and special events we can also offer group breaks, special product presentations, collector games and activities, and exclusive or hard-to-find product not available at our regular stops. If you have something specific in mind for your event, mention it when you reach out and we’ll build something great together.

Is there a fee to book Card Chase?

It depends on the event type and format. We do have purchase minimums for event appearances — contact us for details specific to your event and we’ll put together something that works for everyone.

The Card Chase App

What is the Card Chase App?

The Card Chase App is a free tool for collectors that scores sealed products on expected value (0–10), tracks hot singles picks across MLB, NFL, NBA, and Pokémon TCG, and shows where Card Chase is appearing next. It’s a Progressive Web App — meaning it works in your browser and can be installed on your phone’s home screen without any app store download.

Is the Card Chase App really free?

100% free. No subscription, no account required, no paywall. Just open cardchasetruck.com/app on your phone and go. We built it as a tool for the collector community — there’s no catch.

How do I install the Card Chase App?

iPhone (Safari): Open cardchasetruck.com/app in Safari → tap the Share button → tap “Add to Home Screen” → tap Add.
Android (Chrome): Open the URL in Chrome → tap the three-dot menu → tap “Add to Home Screen” or “Install App” → tap Install.
The app icon will appear on your home screen and open full-screen like a native app.

How often is the app updated?

We update the Hot Singles picks and Best Wax EV scores regularly based on current market data, player news, and product releases. Updates happen automatically — you don’t need to do anything to get the latest version.

Does the Card Chase App work without an internet connection?

The app is designed to load quickly and cache content for offline use, but live market data and event updates require an internet connection for the most current information.

Does Card Chase have a physical store?

No. Card Chase is 100% mobile — no storefront, no fixed retail location. That’s the whole point. We bring the store to you at events across Ohio.

Is Card Chase family-friendly?

Absolutely. Families and kids are a core part of who we serve. Opening a pack of cards together is one of the best experiences in the hobby regardless of age — and our accessible blaster and mega box price points make it easy for parents and kids to enjoy together.
