Quick Answer
Card Chase, Ohio’s first mobile sports card and Pokémon card truck, officially opened on October 22, 2026 at Collector’s Night in Cincinnati and worked three events in its first four days. The truck carries sealed hobby boxes, mega and value boxes, Pokémon Elite Trainer Boxes and booster bundles, sold in person at the window. Next stops: Oct 31 at the Eastgate Vendors Outdoor Market, Nov 7 at Knockdown Card Fest and Nov 8 at the Home Field Card Show in Franklin.
After months of building, wrapping and stocking, the gold truck is officially on the road. Card Chase opened its window for the first time on October 22, and in four days we worked three events, handed out free packs, crowned our first hobby box winners and watched collectors pull some serious fire. If you have been waiting for a mobile card shop in Cincinnati that brings the wax to you, this is it.
Here is a look back at launch week, what is inside the truck, how buying from us works, and where to find us next.

Launch Week Recap: Three Events in Four Days
Oct 22: Collector’s Night, Cincinnati
Our first night open was Collector’s Night on Winton Road. To kick things off, we gave a free Topps Flagship Basketball fat pack to the first 50 visitors who showed us a social media shoutout, and the packs got opened right at the truck. Whoever pulled the lowest-numbered card from those packs won a hobby box. That is exactly the kind of night we built this truck for: ripping packs together and comparing pulls at the window.

Oct 24: Home Base Card Party
Two days later we rolled into the Home Base Card Party at Fowling Warehouse, our second stop of the week and our first daytime event with the window open.
Oct 25: Eastgate Sports & Pokémon Show
We closed out launch week at the Eastgate Sports & Pokémon Show at the Holiday Inn & Suites Cincinnati-Eastgate, then headed straight to a private party that afternoon.

What’s Inside the Card Chase Truck
Card Chase started life as a food truck, and the inside was rebuilt as a rolling card shop: a long wood counter, a glowing CC logo and wall-to-wall shelves of sealed wax. You order at the window, we hand it out, and you can rip it right there.

Pulled at the Window
The best part of launch week was watching what came out of the packs. A few highlights from our first days on the road:

Pulled something great? Here is how to tell if a card is worth grading. Every card that leaves the truck can go home in a penny sleeve and top loader.
How Buying From the Card Chase Truck Works
- In person only. We sell at the truck window. There are no online orders.
- See it before you go. Our online shop is a live catalog of what is on the truck and what it costs, so the price you see is the price you pay at the window.
- Know which box to rip. The free Card Chase App gives every set we carry a 0–10 score and an honest review, so you can pick the best box for your budget.
- Rip on the spot. Open your packs at the window and we will help protect your best pulls.
