- Mega Rayquaza ex, the set’s face and top chase

The Pokémon Company hasn’t published pull rates, so nobody knows the exact odds yet. If you’re new to the symbols in the corner of each card, Special Illustration Rares and Mega Ultra Rares are the ones collectors chase hardest.
Delta Reign Chase Cards
- Mega Rayquaza ex in Special Illustration Rare and Mega Ultra Rare versions. These were the top cards of the Japanese set.
- Raikou ex Special Illustration Rare, one of the next most popular cards from the Japanese release.
- Zinnia’s Trust Special Illustration Rare, a Supporter featuring Zinnia, Rayquaza’s partner from Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.
- Mega Golisopod ex and Mega Golurk ex special art versions.
- Kyogre Illustration Rare promo, found only in the Elite Trainer Box.
What Are Legendary Stadiums?
Legendary Stadiums are brand new in Delta Reign. Each one is a pair of Stadium cards that you play from your hand at the same time. Side by side, the two cards form one big artwork and unlock a powerful effect. Longtime fans will recognize the idea from the half-and-half LEGEND cards of the HeartGold and SoulSilver era.
The set has three Legendary Stadiums, including Legendary Pyroduct. They’re a fun pickup for players, and the connecting art makes them a cool display piece for collectors.

Which Delta Reign Product Should You Buy?
- For the most packs: the Booster Bundle. Six packs, nothing extra.
- For a gift: the Elite Trainer Box. It looks great under a tree, it has the exclusive Kyogre promo, and it includes everything a new player needs.
- For a new player: the Build & Battle Box, which comes with a ready-to-play deck.
- For serious collectors: a booster display, or the Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box for the stamped promo.
Buying for a kid?
Booster Bundles, Elite Trainer Boxes and Build & Battle Boxes are all great choices. Mega Rayquaza is a fan favorite, and the ETB’s sleeves and storage box help keep the pulls safe.
Tips for Opening Delta Reign
- Sleeve your hits right away. Special Illustration Rares and Mega Ultra Rares have textured, full-art surfaces that scratch easily. Slide them into a penny sleeve and a top loader before you open the next pack.
- Check the Kyogre promo. If you buy an Elite Trainer Box, the promo is packed separately from the booster packs, so don’t toss it out with the wrapping.
- Keep the Legendary Stadium halves together. Each Legendary Stadium needs both cards, so store the pairs side by side.
- Look at the corner symbol. The rarity symbol at the bottom of each card tells you what you pulled, from common up to Special Illustration Rare.
